Chandos Primary School prides itself on being an inclusive school. We work hard to ensure that the needs of all children are met, ensuring they make the best possible progress and achieve the highest standards they are capable of.
As well as training our staff to provide high quality learning for all our children, we work with a range of agencies to offer further advice and support.
We always try to be as available as possible, in order to be able to answer queries and worries that you might have. We see our parents and carers as partners and we value working closely together to provide the best support and outcomes for every child. This process also means that if we have any concerns about your child, we will always contact you and have structured communication. We know that parents are an essential part of the decision making process around the learning needs of children.
The SEND Information report details key information about the provision for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities at Chandos, as well as key roles and responsibilities of staff available across the school.
The Birmingham Local Offer includes information about the wide range of services that are available to support all areas of a child's life (0-25 years) especially those with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND). This includes support with education, physical and mental health, social care, leisure activities and moving towards independence and adulthood.
