Safeguarding at our School
Safeguarding is defined as protecting children from maltreatment, preventing impairment of health and/or development, ensuring that children grow up in the provision of safe and effective care and optimising children’s life chances.
Should you have a concern for a pupil's safety, and it is within the school day (Office open between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm), please contact the school on 0121 464 3881 and ask to speak to one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads. These seven staff have undertaken the relevant training to co-ordinate concerns regarding children's safety and are also able to liaise with the relevant outside agencies to ensure children remain safe.
If your concern falls outside of the school day, please telephone the Multi-Agency Safeguarding HUB (MASH) on 0121 303 1888 or e-mail MASH@birmingham.gov.uk.
