Chandos Primary School is a Primary School in Central Birmingham, within walking distance of Birmingham City Centre. We are a two form entry school with around 450 students, as well as a nursery which caters for two year olds.
We have a diverse pupil population that brings together over 40 different ethnic groups, creating a unique variety of cultures, languages and nationalities from across the globe. The majority of pupils are of Somali/Black African, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Arabic backgrounds. About three quarters of pupils use English as an additional language.
Our aim is to foster the best possible relationships between home and school to provide the very best education for all children, enabling them to reach their full potential and have the necessary skills to live as constructive and successful global citizens.
