The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is additional Government funding to raise achievement amongst disadvantaged children. It is allocated to enable schools to reduce the attainment gap between disadvantaged and vulnerable children and their peers.
Each year schools are required to prepare a strategic plan for the spending of the grant.
This year we have £301,151.00 PPG which we plan to use to enhance our literacy curriculum. We will be buying lots of high quality texts for children to use during their topics and so that every child has a physical book to read during their literacy lessons. Additionally, we have chosen to continue with our 'Catch Up and Recovery' program, funding this with our PPG.
