At Chandos, we follow the White Rose scheme of learning for Mathematics. 

Every lesson begins with a mental arithmetic starter, recapping previously taught content and daily skills.  The lessons are then taught in unit blocks which build on one and other. Every unit has the opportunity for children to become fluent in a skill before applying their knowledge to a variety of problems and reasoning questions.
