Events

Year 6 worked with Stan's Cafe this year to produce a leavers performance like no other... based on the lives of Emily Campbell and Precious Mckenzie who are two medalling weight lifters for Great Britain. They performed this on a real life stage at The Mac!

Year 5 spent the summer term working with musicians from Bonfire Radicals. They made their own drums, designed their own t-shirts and even wrote and produced their own Chandos song before parading through Birmingham City Centre to perform it!

Reception and KS1 children enjoyed workshops from The Open Theatre Company who created a performance with no spoken words at all - it was all based on music - which the childrne absolutely loved! 

The Year 6 children enjoyed three days (and two nights!) of fun, sunshine and laughter in May. They faced their fears and took on the zip-wire, 3G swing and even climbed to the very top of totum poles! Well done Year 6!

Our football team were lucky enough to win the chance to represent Aston Villa FC at Watford FC in London! After a very early start, they took part in a series of football matches on the pitch and made us exceptionally proud!

Our SEND athletics team have not only conquered the local area, they have no represented Chandos at the regional event and WON! 

They brought GOLD home to Chandos after running their socks off, congratualtions!
